If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be a law enforcement official from another agency in the state threatening to issue a warrant for your arrest if you do not a total "bond" amount, PLEASE CALL THE SEARCY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT so that we can verify that for you. In addition we have gotten calls regarding someone who claims to be from Publisher's Clearing House, requesting payment in return for a receipt you mail in to get your money, please do not give out any information regarding your bank account, or social security number and PLEASE DO NOT MEET ANYONE IN PERSON ANYWHERE!
