SEARCH WARRANTS RESULT IN SIX SEARCY COUNTY ARRESTS

Six Searcy County residents were arrested on Monday, February 4, following a joint investigation between the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office and the 20th Judicial Drug Task Force. According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, a simultaneous search of three residences in Searcy County netted narcotics, drug paraphernalia, weapons, money and vehicles.

Arrested and charged with numerous felony and misdemeanor charges in the investigation were Kenneth “Kenny” David Harris, age, 64, of Hwy. 14 W in Searcy County; Marlene Michael, age 48, of Hwy. 65 N in Marshall; Ronnie Harness, age 64, of Hwy. 65 N in Marshall; Shelly Ann Kilby, age 40, of Marshall; Mistie B. Hargrove, age 41, of Hwy. 27 in Marshall; and Donald W. King, age 62, of Hwy. 27 in Marshall.

The six individuals were arrested and transported to the Searcy County Jail. No bond or trial date has been set at this time.

Assisting the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation was the Marshall Police Department, Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, Mountain View Police Department and the Stone County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Cassell extends his sincere thanks to all involved in this investigation.
