Bond set for Hogues

On Thursday, February, 14, law enforcement officials arrested Ronnie Hogue, age 67, of Dongola and Thurman Hogue, age 34, while executing a search warrant at Ronnie Hogue's residence in Dongola.

According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, a joint investigation between the Searcy County Sheriff's Department , Marshall Police Department and Twentieth Judicial Drug Task Force resulted in the issuance of the warrant.

During the search, narcotics were located along with evidence of an indoor marijuana grow operation, and drug paraphernalia. Ronnie Hogue and Thurman Hogue were both arrested and taken to the Searcy County Jail where Ronnie Hogue was charged with manufacture of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Thurman Hogue was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule VI narcotic less than four ounces.

During a hearing held Friday, February 15, in the Searcy County Circuit Court, Thurman Hogue's bond was set at $2,500.

Ronnie Hogue's bond was revoked do to a previous charge that not yet been adjudicated in circuit court.

Both are scheduled to  appear in the Searcy County Circuit Court of February 25.
