Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell reported on July 13, Searcy County Deputy Joey Baysinger conducted a routine traffic stop on Hyundai Elentra traveling on Hwy. 65 at South Mountain Road. When Baysinger approached the vehicle, he detected the odor of marijuana.
When Baysinger asked the driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Reynolds of Pine Bluff about the odor, he admitted to having marijuana in his car. Baysinger then asked for the assistance of Marshall Police Officer Sam Holliman and his K-9. When the K-9 inspected the vehicle, it tested positive for drugs. When the car was checked, officers found a marijuana grinder and marijuana seeds.
