On February 18th, 2024, Searcy County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 65, on a silver Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a male subject from Searcy County.  The vehicle was stopped due to an equipment violation.   

After approaching the vehicle, it was determined that a female passenger, Dondawa Treat, and another male were located inside.  During a roadside investigation, Dondawa Treat was placed into custody due to deputies locating drug paraphernalia and an open container of intoxicants in her possession.

Dondawa Treat was transported to the Searcy County Sheriff's Office for booking and processing.  After being incarcerated, Treat attempted to disable a video surveillance camera in her cell.  Interfering with the camera is a criminal charge.  Dondawa has been charged with Impairing the operation of a vital public facility, open container, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia.    She awaits a Searcy County District Court date.
