Argument leads to arrest

On February 26th, 2024, Searcy County Deputies Horn and Jasper were dispatch to 2518 Chinquapin Road just outside of Pindall Arkansas in the Everton community.  The dispatch was for a Domestic Disturbance with a male being beaten unconscious.

After arriving, Randall Morrison of Harrison and Sarah Morrison of Harrison were contacted.  According to statements, Randall and Sarah Morrison were guests, and had been asked to leave the residence by the homeowner prior to this date.  On this date, both Randall and Sarah arrived back at the residence.  While Randall Morrison and the homeowner spoke, Morrison became angry and began attacking the homeowner.

Morrison threw the homeowner to the ground and began choking him to the point that he could not breathe.  While doing so, Morrison began striking the homeowner in the face to the point the homeowner lost consciousness.  A witness to the attack stated that at one point, she, the witness rendered first aid to the homeowner.  As she was doing so, Sarah Morrison threatened bodily harm to the witness.

Randall Morrison was taken into custody and transported to the Searcy County Detention Center for booking and processing.  Morrison has been charged with Aggravated Assault.  Other charges are possible.  Morrison is currently awaiting a Searcy County Circuit Court appearance.

The homeowner was transported to a local medical facility by personal vehicle.
