A 15 year old Searcy County teenager was killed Saturday from injuries sustained in a 4-wheeler accident.

According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, his office received a 911 call on Saturday, February 23, at approximately 8:30 a.m. stating that an ATV crash involving several teens had occurred on Bammy Drive in the Rock Creek area of Searcy County.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found multiple passengers injured including the 15 year old victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accident is currently under investigation. Assisting the sheriff’s office at the scene were members of the HaRoCo Volunteer Fire Department, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center ambulance personnel.

Sheriff Cassell commends all the first responders who worked diligently during this time of tragedy.
